Golfing

The Timbers Resort has a unique advantage of being the epicentre of some of
Canada's finest golfing.  The area is fast becoming known as the golfing
Mecca of Canada.  The following listed below are the closest in proximity to
us but in all there are over twenty 18 hole courses within a two hour radius
of The Timbers.
Bordering our property is the hugely popular "Coy's Par 3" course.  It
provides a short but challenging course surrounded by the beauty of towering
pines and overflowing flowerbeds, walking bridges and water fountains. Fairmont also has a new Par 3 course called
Creekside Par 3.

Five minutes drive to Fairmont gives you access to the 2 legendary 18-hole
courses, Fairmont Riverside Golf Course and Fairmont Mountainside Golf
Course.

Windermere Valley Golf course is about a 15-minute drive from The Timbers. 
It is also an 18-hole course and offers good value for your round.

Eagle Ranch course is located at Invermere, 20 minutes north of us.  It
combines stunning views with the challenge of their famous gorges.

Grey Wolf Golf Course is located at the Panorama Ski Resort.  This is a
relatively new course that has the entire golf world talking.  It is
accessed by a scenic drive along Toby Creek up the mountain from Invermere. 
This will take you approximately 40 minutes from The Timbers.

The Radium Springs Resort is situated along the cliffs and ravines of the
Columbia Valley.  The beauty of this course is matched by the fun of
"playing  through" the many herds of mountain sheep that roam the fairways. 
Radium's original course offers a second choice in that area as well.

Kimberly, the Bavarian capital of the Rockies, boasts 3 world class
courses.  They are Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap and the mature original
Kimberly golf Course.

Near Cranbrook you can golf at St. Eugene Mission.  Enjoy a beautifully set
out course with a backdrop of mountain views mixed with glimpses of the
renovated mission.  One can stay and spend some time afterwards in their new
casino.  Cranbrook also has their own mature, original course.
